It'll be a while; RC4 is just out.
It's stable for the most part, though.

From what I have read in some recent threads where the same question was asked it should not take that long now.
the reason why i ask there some mods i would like to install like sa facebook connect that cant be finished til the final release of the 2.0 is done they have a rc version that works but wont release the beta testers version till you all are done
