let me also tell you I also moved servers too.
I edited settings.php and manually made some edits to the settings table to set the root path.
have you reset your theme paths? you can do this in the admin panel. have you run repair_settings.php? What is repair_settings.php? (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=663.0)
it keeps saying my admin area isn't found.... :(

still not showing my images.
what do you mean is not found? can you post the exact error message?
i get a 404 for my admin page. post above you updated.

please take a look at this Administration Center (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=102.0), the url you gave above is not the correct link to admin smf.
