what is the url at that time when you get the error?

[edit] when i go to pvp-revolution.no-ip.org/smf there is no index.php page, this may be part of the issue.

I am hosting thought No-ip.. (No-Ip.com)
same as when hosting through ur own ip with Xampp or something
I'm using Appserv..
No-Ip is just to hide your IP so instead of going to (eg. 88.13.161.123, you go to yourlikednamehere.no-ip.org)

yes i know that much, but you should ALWAYS have an index page load for your forum/site if it is in place if not then your server is missconfigured. it is a bit of a security risk to have files show instead of the index page.

Doesnt matter if u have index.php or not.. Well I have but i just didnt tell the link.. Let me tell u the link when i set this **** up.. :D

http://localhost/smf/install.php
thats the setup
But it will automaticly redirect u to index.php if this would work...

http://localhost/smf/install.php?step=2
thats step 2 right before it stucks

http://localhost/smf/install.php?step=3
Thats the page link when its stuck says

Denne webside er ikke tilgængelig
Websiden på http://localhost/smf/install.php?step=3

can temporarily be down, or else its permanently moved to another page.
Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): unknown error.

@The Truth: Please open a new topic in the relevant support board with more details, your question is rather vague.

Any update on this?  Do you have any other applications set-up and running on this server?
