Title: Forum spammers

Hi,

I have been spammed recently by lots of spammers, they just spam adverts anywhere on my forum boards/topics etc.
I added activation to open acounts, but still they're registering and spamming my forums, what should I do?

you might want to take a look at the anti-spam mods on the mod site.

Hello there.

Unfortunately there is hundreds of bots outhere and we are all effected by this, so we have to use some spam prevention measures.

Please take a look at mod prevention mods at mods site:

I would suggest to install mod that you think can help with your forum. If you use forum on some language different from English, i would suggest "Are you human" mod, with translated questions and answers. (it works great at my forum though)

Recommend : the mod which allows you to add verification qestions. Works a threat.  :)
