You know how on Yahoo Answers someone posts a question and when someone answers they can choose the best answer and it locks the thread? That's what I want, because I run a forum for Christian advice, but I want to be able to set it for only certain boards too and not all boards.
Permissions
I want it to be available to all of my users, no restrictions.
Feature Set
Only feature I care about is to turn it on/off and be able to set it only for certain boards and not all boards (unless I choose to do all boards of course.) I also want it to lock the thread once a best answer is chosen. Maybe give users something for giving the best answer (like 100 posts added to post count,) or something.

Ok, I will try to give some more specifications and explain better, thanks for the reply...
On Y! Answers someone posts a question and people give answers to it... When the poster finds an answer that is helpful, he or she marks it as "best answer." The topic is then locked and the best answer is moved to the top directly under the question and everyone can see that it was chosen as the best answer. Other users can also rate answers (good or bad,) but they cannot choose the best answer, only the poster can do that. I don't know how to better explain this, so I hope I got it good enough. Thank you.

Cancel this (at least my interest in it...) SoloGhost is making something similiar (Post Rating Pro,) and I will be buying that when it's complete.

I did this on my forum using the "topic solved" mod produced by grudge... Create an account on my forum and create a random topic and you'll know what I mean. It took me hours of modification, but it's done. The only downfall is that is doesn't keep a record of which members provided the "best answer", nor does it send an email to the person telling him/her that their answer has been chosen. That's a cool feature that I plan to include in the future, just so that people can keep track of all the best answers they provided.
I tried modelling my site so that it would have all the features, if not more than Y! answers.
