I'm using smf 1.1.13 and Stop Spammer, which has been phenomenal in catching and preventing spammers from posting. A new problem, however, is that the detected spammer is added to the member list awaiting approval, and then I need to go thru the list and remove them. Or if I dont remove them, they build up and congest the list. Over the past month, 600 spammers have accumulated on the list. They are highlighted in red, so they are easy to spot, but still its tedious to remove them.
Can the spammers be added to a separate list, so they can be easily all cliked at once. Thanks.
you are best to ask in the support thread for the mod you have installed.
I use that mod. It is best to clear them out by simply deleting them. You can check them all on a single page and then use the with selected drop down - click delete. There is no benefit with leaving them hanging for approval or for moving them to another list. Just delete them. If they do return, they will be flagged again, so just clear them out.

When it catches a spammer, it will not let it in as far as to register - and so it will cut down on the spam registrations a lot :)
