Is there any way I can add a front page to my site and link it to the rest of the pages?

have you looked at the portal mods on the mod site? all of them should allow you to create a front page. if this is not what you want can you provide more details as to what you are trying to do?

I have tried them all, best one to use is Tiny Portal, does exactly what it says on the tin. :)
