Is there a way to doesn´t show the smf version at the footer like on this web: http://forum.burek.com/
Exmaple: "Powered by: SMF. © 2005, Simple Machines LLC."
Thanks.
You can, sure. Just remove it from the root index.php.
But in truth, there's no real point. You don't get any security benefits or anything.
Though, in actuality, that example you linked to is violating the license as it has been modified, which except for the version number, is illegal. (I can tell as it's using a period instead of a pipe, and it's copyrighted to 2005 as the LLC when, in 2005, SMF was copyrighted to Lewis Media, the LLC didn't exist until October 2006, even then it wasn't 2005 exclusively either)
ok, thanks.
Or, you can do it the safer way and install a mod.

Just emulate SMF 2.0 RC2 or R3.
Like Gary said, it really doesn't matter though.
excellent, installed :D
