Title: vBulletin --> SMF, password convert?
Post by: surfman on July 27, 2005, 01:38:00 PM
I am wondering if SMF may import users' password in vBulletin without reseting them? I don't want all my members to require their new passwords and reset them. Thanks.

Their passwords should remain the same after the conversion.

No, but vBulletin just uses md5 (if I remember correctly) and that will be automatically upgraded to SMF's encryption as people log in.
