hey, i know i don't use SMF anymore but i still felt like making a theme becuase i was bored :P

NP. What you do is unzip it. Open the folder then upload the whole DarkRed folder into your Themes directory, so it should be like

/Themes/DarkRed/index.php (and the rest of the files)

Then, in your admin cp go to Theme and Layout Setting and in the text box beside From a directory on the server: put DarkRed after .../Theme/ then hit submit.

I've downloaded and installed the Dark Red theme.. but now, my News Fader on the index page is wrong.. it fades in on the first news item... then switches to the next item to fade out on.. where can I fix this at, because it works fine in the 'default' template?

hmm i used the classic theme as a base for the Dark Red theme. Didn't edit anything to do with the news fader though. I can't check it right now due to my server being down. Sorry, maybe someone else has a fix for you at the moment.

ok I down loaded and uploaded the helios theme. I read the topic on how to do it and change the url and stuff but its still not working if anyone can helped me i would love it. I been stuck on this for 3 days and im getting stressed out :(
