I receive mail from smf says mysql client ran out of memory.
LainaaThere has been a problem with the database!
MySQL reported:
MySQL client ran out of memory
This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.
How i can solve this problem.
Ask your webhost to help you.

LOL. Couldn't help myself. I guess this makes things a tad more complicated... ;)
I have no idea how to run a server either. So, i guess depending on what software/OS you are using to power your web server, you need to go on their support site. SMF is just the forum running on your server software platform.
Increase the MySQL memory limit and see if that helps.
