this may sound funny.
but i recently subscribed to a webhost and i want to install smf in my site.
I want the url to be
www[dot]mysite[dot]com/forum
I can't seem to get it right.
I was able to install it at www[dot]forum[dot]mysite[dot]com
but that's not what i really wanted to do.
Im new so please help..

now, i can't log out my admin account. Even if click log out.

And i was able to post.. with without any user as thread starter..

Did you use repair_settings.php (http://download.simplemachines.org/index.php?thanks;filename=repair_settings.php)?

it still didn't fix the problem
im planning to remove smf and re-install from scratch again

and am planning on installing d latest SMF on my syt

Probably not because in order to give global moderators permission to administrate forum and database you would have to be an administrator. How do you have a site and not be the administrator of the site ?
