How do I hide the SMF top right logo in the banner.
I have added a new logo via the url but no matter how wide I make it the smf one is still there is your horizontal scroll across.
Even top,
Haven't done it for awhile, hope this helps.

OK done that. Thanks for your help.
Now I would like to size my header to the width of the old header strip.
If I make the picture wider in pix the border just moves out.
Any tips.
Looks like the table containing your logo has two table cells, the first one holding the logo and the second one being blank thus making the right side stick out. You could consider editing the index.template.php and remove the second <td> in there.
Thanks for that I will give it a go tomorrow.
I have got a headache aftre what I have been through today!
Mashby.
I have had a look in index.template.php and opened it in notepad and cannot see the logo or the particular <td>
I can see it in source on the URL of my forum though.
Which <td> do I delete?
Mind attaching it to a reply? I'll edit it for you and let you know exactly what I did. :)
here is my index.template.php
you are very kind.
Thank you.
Sorry you've had to wait topman, I'm sure mashby just forgot about this - do you still need help with this? :)
Here is the manual way of doing that: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=1153.0
or if you want the easy way via a modification: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1325
Sharks, it would probably be a good idea to read the rest of the topic as well, and not concentrate on the first post alone.
The mod would have been useful to me.
Thanks everyone, I have downloaded the MOD incase I do another SMF forum.
