When i view the topics the main tab shows im in Portal instead of the "Forum"
This doesnt happen when i view the mainpage of the forum.
It happens only when i view the topics, boards etc.
1.1.13
Custom theme.
Have you modified the theme, to show the buttons you want?
Don't forget, mods only install to the default theme, in SMF v1.x.
Yes. Well i think i did. But i have about 40 mods installed the last 6 years so i may have missed one or two.
What you're wanting is in the parser for the portal. :)
So? What do you mean? Where is it exactly and how can i fix it?
Maybe a mod to bite with the code, do not really understand what's going on but a common problem is too Durza number of modifications that are no longer a forum for your version
I didint understand a word you said man. sorry.
Are you trying to say i have so many mods or some of my mods may have been expired based on the forums version?

Maybe some of the bite of fashion with the code page as the forum is updated with a mod no longer match the code version of the forum
He writes with gooogle tlanslatora - soit is difficult understand

Może niekóre mody gryzą się z kodem strony jak forum jest aktualizowane a mod już nie pasuje do kodu wersji forum

What I mean, is go to the mod's page.
Just below the download links, there's a parser.
Select the version of SMF that you're using and hit "Parse".
That'll show you which edits need to be made, including custom theme edits.
For this, take note of the code changes to index.template.php.
That's where the buttons are coded.

I see. But i cant do this for each of 40 mods. Isnt there an easy way to figure/fix this out?
if the mod has theme edits, for the 1.1.* branch you must do those edits manually yourself as 1.1.1* does not support installing mods on other themes. if you upgrade to 2.0 it will attempt to install mods on other themes which it can be somewhat successful in doing so.
Not that I know of, no.
I have fifty-odd mods, myself.
I have thirty custom themes, too.
I've had to make a LOT of edits, in my time...
Hi PLAYBOY, is there something you still need assistance with here - or are we ready to mark the topic solved?
Its not solved nor it can ever be. Because the theme writer has messed up and i figured out that there is no solution for this unless i change the entire theme. Therefore i upgraded to 2.0 and changed the theme also. So i dont think you should mark it as solved because i couldnt get a solution.
If you feel it can not be solved - I will mark it solved none the less, since it is used for internal tracking purposes, where unsolved topics will keep hanging in queue. I know it isn't the best sounding solution, but that is what we have currently - and no way to mark a topic "unsolvable".
