Otsikko: emergency announcement mail sent from my forum ?
Kirjoitti: gigashiga - kesäkuu 10, 2011, 07:59:02 AP
I just now received email from my forum

subject line contains New Announcement:

and it is actually a post on my forum? how does it happend?
mail seems to reach every member of my forum..

but i haven't received any complaint?

what has happened and how should I avoid this in future?

Edit: it was actually a topic started in a subforum under one category.
Edit2: is it that the topic which has been subscribed get this email when a new post is posted? if yes how do we check who all (username + email ) have subscribed what all boards?

Edit3: I think its a new topic start announcement for that subforum for which i have received email. there have been topic reply but I think it should be new topic start email which i received. can we disable sending mail content?  just a mail link for such activities.. mail which I received was from spamming website:: s*ell*aaa*sho*es   dot com...

I'm just guessing - I'm not sure if I understood that correctly either,
but probably who ever opened that new topic, chose to announce it.
