Just upgraded from SMF RC5 to SMF2.0 gold using the large upgrade package. Everything seems to be working fine, all my mods installed without problem.
Only thing is, all my private messages have disappeared Received and sent messages are now empty. ???
Anyone else had this problem?
I can't say I have had that problem, no. Are you sure everything upgraded properly? Sounds like it may not of updated the PM table properly.
Can you please list me with the things you had done in order to upgrade using large upgrade? Did you mess with the database at all yourself?

1: Uninstalled mods in package manager prior to upgrade, and emptied error log. (I know you don't have to, but I did)
2: uploaded files from large upgrade using filezilla, set to overwrite
3: Ran upgrade
4: checked error log, and all clear.
Installed mods again.
We done a test upgrading a friends test site to test this, and all PM remained. So this might be a one off, or I've done something really stupid for which I can only apologise. :-[
Can you possibly list me the mods you had installed before the upgrade? Did you have something related to PM's?
Do you just have no PM's or do you get an error on that page? Anything that you get in the error log when you view the PM's?
Do you have a backup available which you might have made prior to the upgrade?
If you wish, I can have a look into this personally. I will need a few details before I proceed with the fix for you. :)
