SMF 1.1 said I had 134 members waiting approval, but there was no option to see beyond about 20. So I checked all the boxes that looked like spam, applied "delete" and all 134 members were deleted. A few were not spam, so my question is how can I get back deleted registrations.

I'm not entirely sure you can retrieve those real members. Are you sure any of them were indeed real? I'd recommend doing a few things. Your site is currently on 1.1.11. I would get up to 1.1.14. And then look to add some anti-spam mods. I was reading a lot about this one (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2932) just today.
And yes, I have noticed a lot of spam members on a few sites I help out with. Wish these spammers would put their energy in a positive direction rather than doing what they are doing.
Not sure, but I think that a backup of your database file would have them in it. If so and you backed it up then you might be able to get them out that way somehow.
