There are many users on my website with same username.
I want to add a feature that when new member registerand enter the registered username then its should gives an error to change the username.
Those member who registered leave them without any headache.
just for new member
if you upgrade to 1.1.14 it should fix this issue.
you'd better upgrade to THIS! (http://download.simplemachines.org/)
doing a major update can break installed mods.
the bug is fixed in 1.1.14, no need to go to 2.0 for this.
i already installed the latest version today.
Then My friend was registering on my website.
Then he goes to my spammer list because the username was already taken
and he didn't receive any activation email
please help me
sounds like you have some type of mod installed which has some part in this, you may need to post in the support thread for the mod or remove it.
