Hello,
I am currently running a forum on SMF 1.1.13 with no modifications just a custom theme by the designer Crip.
I am wanting to upgrade to the new and wonderful SMF 2.0 but with this being my first time of upgrading (not had the forum too long) I am not sure what package to download or how to install it.
I am with Bluehost at the moment who I used SimpleScripts with to install SMF 1.1.13 but after logging in to my panel I see no option to update to SMF 2.0 with SimpleScripts so it looks like I need to manually do it myself.
Is there anyone that can help me with this please? I am worried about losing my theme and posts etc...
Kind Regards :)
drenched
If you are currently using a custom theme on 1.1.13, the theme will not work with 2.0. Maybe upgrade to 1.1.14 instead?
Also, Crip has updated some of his themes for 2.0. Maybe your theme has a 2.0 version. I am not sure but it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
;)
