I would like to hide a membergroup from regular members so that they cannot be seen in the members list.
How do I do this?
set that group as the users secondary group and not primary.

That didnt seem to work, can you walk me thru it so I will know if I did it rite?
set the primary member group back to the normal group then add the other group as secondary.

I dont understand, you know what you are talking about, but I do not.
I cant see how to do this.
I need a walk thru so I can follow the steps needed to do this.
go to the user profile, click edit account.
from the dropdown select the group you want to be visible and under the additional groups select the one you want to be hidden.

I did that, Primary Membergroup is set to (no primary membergroup)
Additional Membergroups is set to (hidden membergroup)
It didnt work, regular members can still see the hidden member in the member list.
I want regular members to not be able to see hidden members in the member list.
hidden membergroup is not the same as hidden members, there is no feature in smf to hide certain members from the member list.
there s a way to hide members from the online list, but not from the member list... thats what you are looking for ?
