Hey,
I've managed to get the phpSpell spellchecker installed so it'll work on forum posts using the full editor, however I was wondering, is it possible to include it in the PM editor and in Quick Reply?
The Code I've been given to include is
<script language="Javascript" src="spelling/spellmessage.js"></script>
<input type="button" class="" value="Spell Check" onclick="openspell();">
SirSacryfix posted how to do it for post.template.php on the forums here:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=138885.20
And I tried to search for that string in PersonalMessage.template.php but couldn't find it.. :/
Any help would be most gratefully received!
Joe :)
Just in case that didn't make sense, heres a screenshot of the button appearing in the New Topic and Reply dialogs.
It doesn't show up when you try to type a personal message or if you use Quick Reply.
Thanks :)
Joe
Have I posted this in the wrong forum?
Apologies if I have, but can someone point me to the right place please?
Thanks
it is usually considered rude to bump within 24 hours, here you have bumped it 3 times in about 24 hours, give people a chance to reply, everyone here are volunteers and will reply if and when they know the answer.
also please do not pm/email unless requested.
Well, I do apolgoise - I made a couple of mistakes, but all I was trying to do was get help, and I apologise via the mistake to you personally as I felt it was necessary; Obviously I shan't apologise next time.
I've fixed the problem myself now after spending all day scouring the code, so i'll mark it as solved. If it'd be in the best interests of the forum, feel free to delete this, there's no point in keeping it for reference.
Sure would have been nice for the OP to post what he did to get this to work. :(
