HI,
Hope someone can help me.... i have searched for a answer, but can't seem to find it :(
I deleted 3 Boards with over 80'000 posts today.
I was expecting the member *Posts* to go down, but these have remained the same.
My question. If I have deleted boards with such a high amount of Posts....how come the Member Posts remain the same?
I mean if the post is gone, then shouldn't the Posts change as well? Or are the post still somewhere in my Database?
Whereas, if I delete individual posts , this does change the Members Post count.
So what is the difference between Deleting boards with posts, or deleting individual posts.
Delete boards = member posts remain the same Delete individual posts = Member posts go down.
My member groups are based on Posts, so it's important I know how this works :)
Thank you for your help.
I am using version 1.1.14
admin -> forum maintenance find and repair any errors and try recount all forum totals and statistics.
Hi, thank you for your reply.
I actually did all that before, and the posts are still there.
Not a problem if they stay there, but can be a problem if they suddenly do disappear because I deleted so many old posts
I went to delete a board with posts still in it once whereupon the software created an emergency board (containing the posts) visible only to admins.
Have a look in Admin > Boards > Modify Boards to see if it's there.
