The mod warned of a "Test failed" in the: /Themes/Alluminium/index.template.php for this Aluminum theme I use as the default theme. What must be done/edited to fix this?

Here's the php file you requested.

Right now, I can see the configuration fields under the "modifications settings", I enabled button 1 and completed all the fields with the info and saved. Just nothing shows on the actual site.

Find:

Change to:

At the risk of sounding silly, what does one put into one of the buttons?  That is, if there are specific Admin functions I can use these buttons as shortcuts?  Do I enter a full URL in the field?

Sorry, but there are no screenshots or description to look at and see.  Some people might not install this MOD without knowing how to use it.

Actually, the screenshot is of a BLANK form, no examples of how to fill it in.  I ask because some MODs require a full URL, others just what goes after '?' in the URL.  How are we to know without a description or screenshot, except by asking?

I hope I don't sound rude, because I do not mean to, but the description really doesn't make all of this clear.  I like the idea of this MOD, but I'm sure I'm not the only Admin who is reluctant to install a MOD without knowing how to use it.

I am not trying to sound stupid here, but here is my question.

I added 1 button from the ADK menu buttons to my Simple Machines forum. What I want is that when someone clicks on that button/link it will open in the same window. Right now it opens in a new window/tab.

I have tried ?target=self   top   parent  and nothing seems to work.

If I could please get some insight as to how to make this link open in the same window I would sure appreciate it.

Search "function Botonera()" in the file index.template.php and modify:
'target' => '_blank',

with:
'target' => '',

Hi, thanks for the nice mod. One question i was in doubt if i made any mistake while i was trying to personalize the look of the button. Well every thing is working fine, but I wanted to make sure, so i tried to uninstall to re-install. The only think i have did so far was to modify the images at "Themes/default/images/Boton/Icono-Boton.png" but i saved copies and restored the original stuff before trying to uninstall. Well the uninstall check (via package manager) give me an error "Replace - ./Sources/ManageSettings.php   Test failed". So finally the question.
How should i proceed to uninstall and re install? If i proceed with this "failed" uninstall what will really happen? Can i do it and than manually uninstall only the stuff at "ManageSettings.php" ? I do not know php, but i have some little programming skills and feel comfortable to do this little changes. Or i need to uninstall every thing by hand?
By the way the stuff at "ManageSettings.php" is exactly stated at"Manual Install Instructions for SMF" at mod page. In time SMF 2.01, shared server.

vkbr, i think i like #2 the best but they both look good.

If it shows error when uninstalling, you just remove those codes manually.
This has to look at the parse of the mod.

You'd have to install the mod FIRST, then try the file he attached.

Love your work, I am having issues with this install with theme Flagrantly by, Crip on SMF 2.0.2

ERROR: Add After   ./Themes/flagrantly_20g/index.template.php   Test failed

I went to manually add Botonera(); but could not find template_menu(); in the index.template.php file. I did find 2 entries for template_menu() but could not add the code correctly.

I have attached the index.template.php. Appreciate any assistance you could provide.

Nice mod. Very useful. However, I find the cogged wheel icon and the bold text very brash. Is it possible for me to change it?

  Installed the mod with no errors ...

Configured two buttons and they are displayed next to each other, rther then seperated with the icon ... ( no icon)

Checked images/Boton  the png files are there ..

What am I doing wrong

nb.noticed that this happens in Google Chrome.  For Opera and Firefox,  it is ok. (I mean the icon)

SOLVED... clearing cache of Chrome solved the problem.

 Now the question is : How can I reduce the font size and icon size ?
I know it can be done via css but I'm quite novice on this.
Any help will be higly appreciated ...

I get this on the top of every page when I install this mod..
And in admin panel, all options come, but blank, there is no text written.

Any help is appreciate, I really want to get it working. I'm using smf 2.0.4.

Obviously was an error in the installation. This text must be entered in file /Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english.php ή Modifications.english-utf8.php (check it).
I recommend remove and reinstall the mod again, and you see if in initial verification showed some problems.

I have installed the mod, but these are showing up like that (see attachment).
I have tried clearing the cache, etc, but no change.. these are appearing like that only.
