Kirjoitti: Topman - heinäkuu 18, 2011, 08:27:07 AP
I have tried the add image button but I just get     [img]
What else do I/they need to do?

host their image somewhere and post the url between the img tags

use the attachment system? use a gallery mod? the image has to be hosted somewhere on the internet for it to show up on your forum.

Below the text area '+ Attatchments and other options', click that then 'Browse' to upload a pic.

in 1.1.1* it is called additional options but attachments must be enabled first.

I wanted posters to be able to display a picture in a post not as an attachment.
If they dont have a url they cant do this?

I know all about the attachement and other options +

nope if they dont have a url they cant show the image on the internet that is how it works. try looking at some of the gallery mods, the users can upload the image and then post it in their thread where they want.

Gallery mods are nice, but you can also have them post as attachment, then view the attachment to get the url, and post that between the img tags.
