I realized my forum is now ranked on Google, but it's description shows
"Topic you have posted in Normal Topic Hot Topic (More than 15 replies) Very Hot Topic (More than 25 replies) Locked Topic Sticky Topic Poll
bsgtips.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0"
How can I change this to read something like "This board is for XXXXX"
add details to your board index but it is up to google what it picks up to use as the description
You mean the description of the forum right?
By the way, while we're on the topic. Every so often I get this email.
"There has been a problem with the database!
This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues."
I contacted Godaddy, but they don't understand what this error is about either to troubleshoot it. Can anyone shed light on the subject?
Godaddy. Huh. Timeout errors from MySQL most likely.
godaddy is an overseller, finding a new host will make those errors go away http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=117303.0
