Can someone tell me if this is possible.
My website was created in dreamweaver. Would it be possible to set the SMF layout so that it matches the layout of the website?
I.e. same buttons and design

you can not use dreamweaver to edit the themes of smf, but you can use the same graphics files in smf.
How do i do this?
do what exactly? you want your theme from the other site to match your forum? you need to look at smf's themes and you will need to manually edit them to look how you want.
You can use dreamweaver but not the wysiwyg editor you have to do it in code view and edit the code directly, like using a normal text editor but really if you are using dreamweaver in wysiwyg and not writing the code yourself to make your website the process of putting smf into your websites design won't be a simple process for you.
