Otsikko: Logo cutting off with default theme
Kirjoitti: bhager - heinäkuu 28, 2011, 09:32:51 IP
Hi,
I just installed a forum on my website and upgraded it to the 2.0 version (my cpanel installed 1.14). I am working with the default theme and I'm having trouble putting my logo into the header. I read in the help to edit the main_block.png file, so I used Photoshop to put my logo where I wanted it. For some reason though, the image is showing cut off, only a little bit shows. I'm not sure what I need to edit to make it show the entire logo.

Mind providing a link to your forum?

Don't know where you read that, but it's a really stoopid idea.  Upload your logo to /Themes/default/images/, then go to Admin -> Current Theme -> Logo image URL: and put in your logo url.

Krash's idea is rather solid. Sure, you could edit #header to have a padding-left: 158px;
But separating your logo from the main_block.png image would make more sense overall. Maybe give that approach a try. Undo the work you did for main_block.png and instead upload an image link logo.png and put the URL to it as Krash suggests.
