I cant seem to figure out how to change the banner up top...i want to remove the whole grey area and the white text....and add my own banner?
how do i get the width and height of the grey banner i currently have so i can make sure my banner is the same in measurements?

Are you referring to the FerryTheme that I see as a Guest on your site? It looks like you have your banner up there. Mind mocking up a screen shot and highlighting the desired changes?
