The avatar doesn't changed when I select "Personalized Picture". But it changed when I select "I have my own pic" and "I will upload my own picture".
My "Server-stored avatars" settings. Admin -> Attachments and Avatars -> Avatar Settings.
LainaaPermisions: All groups
Avatars directory: /home/*USERNAME*/public_html/forum/avatars
Avatar URL: http://pokemonstars.com/forum/avatars
Everything is OK. The avatar URL is exist. The folder permissions is 755. I'm using SMF 1.1.13. But how this doesn't working?

You need to check the Permissions go to:
Admin/ on the left under members click on Permissions/click the tab, Permissions by Membergroup/ for each Membergroup ie.Regular Members, Global Moderators etc. click Modify/scroll down and under Member Profiles section, tick the box that says, "Select an avatar from the server" Be sure to click save changes.

Checked, and the "Select an avatar from the server" is already set for all groups. It's still, even admin can't select an avatar from it. :(

I joined and tested, confirm cannot select avatar located on server, even though the pic shows in the selection screen.
I have had some problems on my server, not in SMF but another script, with file names that begin with a digit. Your images are named 001.png, 002.png, etc... I don't know if this is a Linux thing or PHP, but I renamed my files with a letter first, ie a001.png, etc... and the script worked flawlessly. I don't know if this is your problem but I would give it a try.

Tested with a0.png, a1.png, etc... on my new Pesonalized Picture (Pokémon B&W Sprites). It's still not working. I'm using Linux and PHP 5.2.17. :(

Sorry, not a clue but here is a bump for you, maybe someone else will chime in.
Another long shot... maybe the file format is not compatible... did you create those avatars your self? If so, try downloading and installing an avatar package from the mod site, just pick one at random to test. If those work, try opening your avatars in a different program and saving them, or exporting them if that option is available. Or maybe even a different format, like gif or jpg.
Edit: Scratch that, I just grabbed one of your avatars, dragged it to my desktop and uploaded it to your site and it worked fine. So I don't think there is anything wrong with the image itself.
Someone chime in please. Any solutions?
The "é" in the name of the avatars directories.
Remove it (or maybe in that case change it to "e") and it will work again. ;)
