i have 2 questions
recently i downloaded a theme called silentwave
and i tried to change the image thats displayed in the footer.. that worked just fine
only the height of the footer was too small at first because i didnt see the full image.
so i changed the footer code in index.css like this;

padding: 10px 0;
text-align: center;
color: #ccc;
height: 150px;
background: #d5b6c3 url(../images/custom/footer-bg.png) 0 0 no-repeat;
the image is 150px high so thats why 150^
but the footer was now then too big and you saw below the image some empty space left
even reducing the 150 to 130 didnt work, still was too big in height.
so how do i get the footer to be exact same size as the image show within?

how can i change it into 2011?

get rid of the padding stuff: padding: 10px 0;
padding: 10px 0; this means it will ad a padding of 10px on the top of your footer.
as for the osftware year, you canot change that as 2010 was the year that RC3 was developed, if you want to have 2011 then just install the SMF 2.0 final which was developed in the 2011 year.

but its still the same blue colour as before

well sure but the theme isnt up yet, everytime i uploaded it and i saw the things werent as i wanted them to be or didnt work as the footer problem
i deleted it again
i wanted the theme to be up just perfect, lol...
so i guess you need me to get up again so you can see the mistakes im talking about?
though i doubt you can see the blue plainbox thing, as you dont see it when posting or viewing a topic
