Hi I have a problem with my forum. The users have uploaded over 20,000 files attached to the site and my hosting provider says: for conserve the server performance, i can only store 1024 files per directory. My question is that I can do to store files in directories of 1024? and how I can do to in the forum to keep doing it automatically?. I hope I can help me, Thanks!

I don't believe that you can with SMF v1. Unless there's a mod.
You can with V2, though, as standard.
