Otsikko: New domain using SSI function Not caching properly
Kirjoitti: Biology Forums - elokuu 21, 2011, 02:41:12 IP
I have a new domain that uses SSI function from my forum. The problem is, I log into my forum properly, but this login doesn't get translated to the new domain, even though I've bridged the two to do so. What is causing the problem? I also switched off:

Enable local storage of cookies

Use subdomain independent cookie

But I'm not sure if it's making a difference.

Cookies can't be passed or read from one domain to another so the forum doesn't know that you are logged in if you login at one domain then move to another domain in the forum.

So what should I do in this case?

use the same domain, there is no other option for what you want done.
