i cant log into my admin. I just removed the name of the person that designed the theme and the redirect site he added,dats all i did and the theme malfunctioned.i dont know how to go about it
you mean you removed the themes copyright? then you are using an illegal theme and would get no support for issues caused by doing so. sure as all hope you did not remove your smf copyright as well.
actually i didnt remove anything from smf. i just removed a name in the footer.is there no way i can switch to smf default theme? please help a brother
best i can offer is to run What is repair_settings.php? (http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Repair_settings.php) and click the links to reset your theme. and next time you want to remove any part of the themes copyright which includes the authors name or a mods copyright contact the mod/theme author first.
If you haven't done any serious damage, you should be able to load the default theme by adding /index.php?theme=1 to your forum url.
Sounds like the theme author left a little surprise in his theme.
i tried that krash and it did not work that is why i suggested repair_settings.php to fix the theme to default.
