Our admin team have stopped receiving email notifications of new members. All the relevant boxes are ticked. We haven't upgraded yet to the newer version as our host is away from his computer for a couple of weeks. Will the newer version correct the email notifications? We also are not receiving pm email notices.
Any help would be great.

sounds like an issue with your servers mail server or the mail configuration in smf, you are best to contact your host and find out what changed.
And meanwhile you can use SMTP server to send mail like Gmail or any other..

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping that the upgrade would sort it, but I guess we will have to wait until holidays are finished.

Have you checked your logs? Has mail() been disabled?
If so, you'll have to switch to SMTP mail.
