Hi everyone,
I've just been put in charge of running our organization's forums and thankfully everything's been running smoothly. We're running SMF 1.1 RC2. I've gotten one complaint however from a moderator who says she gets around 20 emails a day with the subject "User [username] has filled out extended profile," and she would like to stop receiving these. She's not very tech-savvy, and may have subscribed to receive them without realizing it.
After an hour of scouring the admin internet (and searching Google and these forums) I can't for the life of me find out how these get enabled (and how to shut them off). Anyone out there come across this?

that is not a default feature of smf, and you should upgrade your install 1.1.14 is out RC2 is very old and has many security risks
Thanks--that explains why I can't find anything about it online. Time to go hunting in the source code, I suppose. And thank you for the heads-up about our version being out-of-date. I'll look into upgrading.

In SMF 2.0, there are settings in the moderation center, which control when notifications are sent.
