Title: converting vbulletin bd 4.1 to smf?

Hi I'm new to this system and need to know if you can pass a database of 4.1 to smf vbulletin since I have vbulletin forum but embark on new in this version I hope will help solve my doubts beforehand thank you very much

ie. VB4 converter will work on 4.1 ~
Try it before doing  , take full back .. just in case !!

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of vBulletin 4.0. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the Database account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error that was received from the Database was: SELECT command denied to user 'shackur_360'@'localhost' for table 'user'

From that message, it would appear that you didn't use the correct username/password.

It's not your forum username/password it wants.

It's your database ones.

Add your SMF DB user to vBulletin DB.

Use one DB (recommended)

When you install software you create a database and an user right? Yes :)

When you want to convert from one software to another you need to add SMF user to vBulletin Database, then SMF can get any data from vbulletin db and use it for converter.

You can't see what is going on inside when the door closed :)
