Hey guys I recently made some ribbons for my forum members as a reward. However, I cant seem to add them correctly onto their profiles(Including mines)
Can someone help me out here?
in what way are you trying to add them and what issues are you having?
Well I'm trying to add them to the upper left right under their name and profile pic. So that when you go into their profile it shows at the top center of the profile. It was done before on another SMF site by my buddy but I tried to ask him and he's not talking to me for whatever reason....

Well I tried to add them like I add a pic to a board post using the IMG code. That did not work. However, maybe I'm posting it in the wrong slot.... I thought it would be posted under Custom Title but it's not working. I tried the IMG code the direct link and all was posted was the IMG code and direct url. With personal text I got the same result.
those fields dont allow the use of bbc code so that will not work for what you are trying to do.

maybe if you could show us how he has them we may be able to figure it out for you.

I can try to explain how they were set up.
K so on a post of each member where the member information shows on the left was like this
Name
Their Custom Title/text
the ribbons
stars
Number of post
Profile picture
and at the bottom of the post would be their Signature.
sounds like the users are in more then one group with the "ribbon" as a badge/star for the additional group and the use of a mod like http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1110 to have them all show up.
K so download the mod? If so how do I upload it? I never could figure that out. I dnt know what file I have to upload.

lol I'm trying but I have no clue what so ever as to what I'm doing. Is there a way to get someone to kinda walk me through?
what part are you not getting? you upload the mod using the package manager and it installs it for you.
But there are more then one file in the mod. Does it matter what file I click to be uploaded?
I tried to upload it and it said that the package upload only allow certain file extensions. But non of the files in the package I downloaded from the link u provided for the mod has that extension.
you upload the mod zipped as you got it off the mod site.
Oh well maybe I should use my pc for this. On my MAC I guess it automatically unzip the files for me. I will try it on my PC.

As in uploading themes. Is it the same.

K so I figured out where I went wrong. I had to go into my Cpanel and use File Manager. Upload the badge to the theme. Works great now.
