after upgraded to 1.1.15, i'm getting this message at the bottom of my page

The theme_copyright() is there at my code before the upgrade.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I am gettting the same error. The copyright notice disappeared and I am getting "Sorry, the copyright must be in the template.

Not sure why this message is appearing? Take a look at some common causes." instead. The copyright showed fine in 1.1.14. index.template.php was unchanged. What exactly was changed in 1.1.15.
BTW, the PHP, MySQL and W3C logos are still there. Just the copyright in the middle was affected by the update.
I have a little more information. I have two subdomains: www, which is the main web site, and test, which I use for testing. I had applied 1.1.15 to test. The error then appeared on www. Test showed the copyright and no error. I don't really understand it, but the error went away when I applied 1.1.15 to www. I am using subdomain independent cookies, but I don't see how that could affect it.
Lelynx, does this sound like your situation?
As said, consider attaching your index.template.php ,though you hve tried to give info as much as you can but still problem must be traced in systematic manner.
We noticed the issue on a couple of upgrades to 1.1.15.
The problem is likely with the ./Sources/Subs.php file, replace it with the old file and see if the copyright error goes away.
If so, try the manual edits on the subject file (suggest copying the edits from the upgrade file).

Sorry, looks like you attached wrong file.. You need to attach file from Theme/default/index.template.php (or for the theme you are using).
Also include your Sources/Subs.php
