Hello.
Looks like any new member of my board can not open topic or send post. After checking, I figured out that new members do not become "registered members".
Please help.
Do they get put into a membergroup?
Other than that, I don't, exactly, understand what you're saying, to be honest.
Newly registered users do not become members of the "registered users" group, they do not become members of any standard group, so they have permits as "guests".
Have you got Registration set so that they have to activate their accounts?
If so, have these members activated?
I agree with K@ -- it sounds like your member registrations have not been completed, if they are not set to "immediate activation". Depending on how it's set, either the administrator (you) needs to OK the new members, or they have to respond to an email sent to them. If the former, have you received emails telling you that there are new members awaiting approval? Have you looked in the admin area to see if there is such a queue? If the latter, try signing up as a general member, and see if you get an email requiring a response. If your email is not working, neither of these will function.
No, activation or confirmation registration is "off", users can normaly log after registration, but can not post.
users dont have the regular members group shown in their profile, this is normal. can you take a screenshot of the permissions in the admin panel for this group? do you have any post count based groups with permissions?
