Otsikko: Database version vs. SMF version
Kirjoitti: Taskman - syyskuu 25, 2011, 06:53:41 AP
Hello,

One of the members of my forum reported that table smf_log_search_results had been in crashed state for a while.

I had a look, and indeed, the search page shows a MySQL-related error message *and* something similar to what follows:

"Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version %s, while your database is at version %s. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."

I performed verify, repair, optimize through phpMyAdmin, and search functionality has been restored. The message above doesn't appear anymore, either.

I understand, however, that the table above was already most likely crashed when I updated from 1.1.12 or 1.1.13 to 1.1.14 a few months ago — do I need to take any extra steps in order to make sure that it gets to the current version?

Regards,
Taskman
