Currently my forum is is maintenance mode, but for me and all other admins, when trying to login, it endlessly is loading.
It was fine until this morning... I thought maybe changing the SMF cookie or something would help, but I can't do that as I can't log in.
Anyone have any suggestions as to fixing this problem? Thanks,
Jason
you can use What is repair_settings.php? (http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Repair_settings.php) to reset your cookie, and also see if the issue still happens when not in maintenance mode.

Took it off maintenance mode, changed cookie from SMFCookie1165 to SMFCookie12 and now the index won't even load.... ??? :(
Edit:
Index.php (portal page) will not load. but the forum board index will load. Unfortunately I still can't login. And to make matters more confusing... The theme I had set as default... has reverted to SMF default...

Edit 2:My other SMF site http://mainmedia.me/ (hosted on the same database, server, host) was working, and its now just done the exact same thing. Could this be a database problem? :o
might be a database issue given it cant connect right now.
Time to slap your host about, methinks...
Emailed the host, also noticed wordpress is down. :P Definitely something in the database I suppose. Will mark topic solved if/when he can explain why this is happening.
