Hi, I have Googled like mad for this and cannot find a satisfactory answer.
Here is a screen grab of a forum index (running VB) that allows an admin to embed images into the text descriptions of each board comprising a category. At some point I will NEED to be able to do this on my forum for commercial reasons:

Now I LOVE SMF, and cannot believe this is not possible, but after Googling I am worried it cannot be done, which seems a bit odd given the HUGE impact such a function would have on the commercial apsects for many when choosing a forum.
Is it a case of embedding HTML into the board description text? Or can it just not be done?
As said, I love SMF, but if the above functionality isn't possible, I feel at some point a forum migration will have to occur which would be shame because of the great developer community SMF has, of which, I'd like to stick with.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
YEEHAA!!!
I found out that SMF 2.0 can parse HTML in forum descriptions LOL
Here is the link to the docs:

From the Google searches I ran, it appears there are MANY folks that havent a clue how to do the embed HTML thing, so hopefully these links will assist many in their goals!!
Also, I found this nifty little "live/online" HTML testing site that you can test your HTML on before pasting it into your description:

OK, I think me and SMF shall be long time bedfellows now :)
*happy*

Well, it doesn't need to be more complicated than that ;)
