Am I allowed to use the images, css and templates of Classic, put them into Curve and release it? So it's actually porting Classic to 2.0, but with curve as a base. Thanks in advance :)

i think the version akyhne did was not based on curve though.

Yeah, but there are some things I would like to see more like Yabb SE myself, but it's a matter of taste. :P

I made the YabbSE Next Gen (http://themes.e-debatten.dk/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item11) and recently the Yabb SE Classic 2 (http://themes.e-debatten.dk/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item30). i actually offered the Yabb SE Classic 2 to the team yesterday, as I always ment to make it for them.

No, I always base my themes on Curve for compability issues (mod installation).
My hostess has butchered one of those about and she's made a damned good job of it, too. :)

I don't think classic has been released under the new license yet. Working on that though. I've done an update to Classic with hopefully some small changes in more semantic code and to make it compatible with SMF 2.x. Hoping to finish it up soon, and will discuss with others about changing the license on it.

You should implement the way buttons are generated from my Yabb theme. People don't have to create language buttons then. Feel free to copy.
I've already change the buttons to use the way SMF2 does without the graphics. They're now text buttons just shaped the way they were before. :)
So they will have no icons with the buttons?
Most likely. The whole point of the update that I've done is to not use so many templates to get the look it had previously, while maintaining mod compatibility as much as possible. I think right now I only have 2 template files aside from index.template.
