Title: Editing own posts after Edit Time Limit on one board only
Post by: IamTheBoy on January 03, 2012, 02:40:05 PM
Is it possible to, for one board only, not have an Edit time limit on posts, without assigning moderator priviledges to members for that board?

Thanks

no by default the edit time applies to all boards.

I had a feeling that was the case :(

I was trying to build a specific Permissions profile for this board, hoping one of the Moderate options, such as Modify Replies to Own Topic would work, but although this gives the Modify button on the post, clicking it gives an error that the time limit for editing has passed (is that a bug that it shows the Modify button?)

No, because you've given the permission and therefore the button appears but another function prevents it's operation due to the time limit.
