Hi, I'm having a bit trouble with backdrop...
The size of my page (foreground) varies depending on how many posts or boards there are. The page is flatter if there are few posts. The page elongates as more posts and boards appear. That's all part of what normally occurs on forums.
But my backdrop is of fixed dimension. So when the foreground is too long, the backdrop "runs out" and just ends abruptly.
It's a bit hard to describe so I just attach two examples.
How do I overcome this problem please? Thanks a lot.
Well resize your backdrop.jpg (at this moment 1440px × 900px experiment with this settings)saved it as backdrop.jpg, and replace your backdrop.jpg using a FTP client
Go to Public_html->Forum Name->Themes choose theme->images->theme and overwrite backdrop.jpg
Or modify your fontsize (css/index.css theme)

Thanks French. Suppose I find the right sized backdrop for now, but as people post more messages, that backdrop will be too short again.
Also, even if the backdrop looks alright now, if another user uses a different resolution on their monitor, the backdrop will misalign again.
Making fontsize smaller also won't solve the problem.

Our Forum also using one of the excellent theme,s from Akyhne,so i guess the settings must be the same ;)
So maybe this will help you out,our css/index.css setting

And i presume this is important our own backdrop.jpg (2100px 782px those settings are the same as the original Backdrop.jpg) so maybe you will have to modify your own backdrop.jpg
