I've seen several forums with a recent post box on the home page at the bottom, like in the sample pic

i'm using smf 2.0.2 is this something i can add to the homepage from the admin area or do i need a mod??
I've spent all afternoon looking through my admin pages with no avail
Can someone point me in the right direction Please
Thanks so much ;)
I do believe it's in Admin -> Configuration -> Current Theme and the setting is called somethinggg like "Number of Posts to Show on BoardIndex" or something, it's been a while since I've used the admin panel for actual administration.
Help this helps.
If not, maybe these will?

Nah, I know there's a setting for it, and I'm 99% sure it's in Configuration -> Theme Settings, but if not, I KNOW it's in the Admin Panel. But those would help for outside of SMF :)
Admin -> Configuration -> Current Theme -> Number of recent posts to display on the board index
Make sure it's a value greater than 0. 5 is usually the limit people choose.

Not a problem dude, it happens. Sometimes it legitimately is tough to find things, I totally agree.
I'm going to go ahead and mark this as solved. Have a great day!
