I'm trying to separate the news bulletins of the forum messages, because when I need to send a bulletin I have to wait for the mail cue for a 3000+ mails and sometimes the mails for responses advice's gets delayed (or lost) because of this.
So I was looking to PHPlist, poMMO, and ccMail that I have in my Cpanel scripts. But none work with ssl/tls so I can connect with google apps and send the bulletin with smtp.
Does anyone use/know a script solution for mailing lists that can connect to google apps? (or gmail) :-\
Do you know gmail allow only upto 500 mails per hour or may be less.
But in nutshell, you need some better newsletter handling stuff.. :)
Integration of phplist or similar can be the solution for you.
Yes, Gmail allow only 500, but Google Apps 2000 + 1000 inside the domain.
I was trying phplist, but (even through there's some tutorials about get the connection with google) the smtp email don't work, it just work when I use phpmail()
