hi, excellent theme!

i was wondering if their was a way to make the main background (that's solid white) a little darker? i tried looking though the css file but cant find the setting.

love the theme, but just a little too bright for me

That's because is an image and not a color.
You can find it in Themes/ElegantMind/images/theme/bg.gif

Just change the color of 'frame_repeat.png' in '/images/theme/'

Search content_section class in css and you will find the background color.

What font is used in logo image?

I've downloaded your theme elegant. Great job making it. Thank You!

however I do have a question, .

I want to disable news fader. I tried everything even edited the default index.template.php but unfortunately it only works for the default smf themes not elegant. (I believe I have to edit index.template.php in elegant theme but I have no clue where to edit).

can you please guide me how to disable news fader in the template? I don't want news there.

You have to disable that feature in the admin center at the "Current theme" section.
