Hello,
So I have a forum that I want different threads to be in a certain order, than they are now.
In order to do this on SMF, you need to post the threads in the order you want them, of which just speaking the truth; takes the piss.
I am requesting that a MOD is designed which allows a board moderator to move a thread, the same way admins are able to move a board around.
Either this type of MOD, or a MOD that allows a Board MOD to bump the thread, but still you would have to bump mostly all the threads in order to get your desired outcome - the MOD I proposed (allow board MODs to move threads around like Admin do to boards) would be more comfortable with this.
Please look it over, and think able cases where it would be useful - it would be useful ALL the time.
You can do this.
I have two Moderator groups on my forums.
Board Moderators for the boards and Moderators for the whole forum.
If you give the Moderators the necessary permissions then they can do what you requested.
Board moderators are unable too.
/me thinks something like that (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=382) would do (part of) the trick.
