I'm a SMF lovers since 2009 till now. I'm now running business with PhpFox social software.
Many of us (phpfox members) need a free SMF forum integrations with PhpFOx software. But no 1 dev in phpfox can create this free addons cause they are very busy for making money ;) ;D :laugh: LOL...
We are looking for a new dev who can create an addons for PhpFox, with some fee of course.
If anyone is interested please contact the team so that phpFoX team will allow you to get the phpFoX software free of charge for a basic to start making addons.
So far I see there are 90.000 more members in their forum and you can bet they are phpFoX users as only having a valid license can go to the forum. With a lots of this members it is very difficult for developers to meet all requests for addons.
Many of addons price is sell from between $10 to $99 per addons. We need more dev who can create addons and customizing sites.
I hope there are some paid developers who can join in phpFoX

I suspect you'll get more interest at phpFox's forum than you will here; most people here do not have licences and have no desire to pay for a licence just to write a bridge.

It's still ultimately paid-for because you have to have a licence to make it worthwhile, no?
And I would note that there is a strong resistance here to paying for anything so anyone who does make a paid plugin is only going to get hassle over it.
Its free for who can make addons or who got skill specially if you create your online SMF addons store.

Basically it says you have 30 days to make a add-on. You get no source code to work with, you can see the forums but not post or interact to see what the community wants made.
Bad experience so forth, we are not going to go through hoops just to make a add-on. I like the idea though, make a few extra bucks here and there, but I can't spend time on something I can't do anything about due to lack of source code.
They will approve you manually so you can get access with the source code.

I'm contacting the support to find all requirement to be a dev at Phpfox.

I would be very interested to understand your community needs (and others, on SMF forums *and* a social networking software). I wasn't aware that people try such interaction, from a social networking software to the forum. While the other way around we all know it's more and more popular.
I wasn't aware of this particular package either. Although to be honest, I don't know if I appreciate stated requirements such as 'no test sites other than local or under authentication'. It can only reduce the interest and quality of customizations/integrations for phpFox.

Thanks Nend, the support team say's just go to that dev link. Not sure what means next. Are you got the source code?
